Our team is
planning to design an application that will allow users to communicate directly
and indirectly with their housemates or roommates regarding their communal
living situation. We plan on designing a mobile or web application that would
provide a space for users to connect with their roommates and coordinate daily
chores, groceries lists, rent payments, and even day-to-day reminders.
With the
growing commonality of college students living in communal apartments or
houses, the interactions between roommates provides a greater impact on daily
living. Along with school and work, dividing up chores and worrying about rent
contributes to the stressful lives of students. Our primary user group would be
focused on college students, however, we plan on addressing the needs of the
general population who require a communal living organizer application since
the situation applies to not only college students.
